Why attend MEWc?

More than a networking event. Better than a social gathering. WAY more energy than your typical conference. We’ve rounded up the best reasons to attend The Maine Women’s Conference on October 7, 2020. We hope to see you there!

Why would I want to take an entire day out of my busy schedule to attend #MEWC2020?

  • To expand my network of inspiring women

  • To gather new ideas, tools, information and inspiration

  • To share my talents and ask the questions I’ve been dying to ask of other women

  • To hang out with other powerful women for a day filled with energy, experiences, and education

  • To have fun (yes, there will be lots of laughter!)

  • To meet and learn from women in Maine from many different backgrounds

[What I loved about The Maine Women’s Conference was] the positive energy and realizing I’m not alone to be at the crossroads of my career and assessing what is right for my next journey.

This has been wonderful… the speakers this morning were fabulous – they brought tears to my eyes and the session that we just left is very relevant – it was ‘Be Brave’ and as a working Mom and a young working women, you know, being able to take those challenges and take those deeper dives in times that you feel afraid is really important for women to continue to share those stories so we don’t stand on the sidelines and instead empower others.

Oh, my gosh, the Keynote Speaker this morning was unbelievable. She was absolutely unbelievable. And I got a lot out of the communication session this morning. A lot that I can take back. Certainly you can’t convey the whole conference to someone who wasn’t here but there were a lot of really good usable communication tidbits that I think people can grasp pretty quickly without having been here all day.
